What is the difference between ACE Seeds and other seed banks ?

ACE Seeds develops a sophisticated preservation work and studies the pure varieties of psychoactive cannabis proceeding from all over the globe. Initially, the native varieties are reproduced in pure form for their future preservation. After analyzing and preserving them, hybridization projects are developed mixing several pure varieties in order to combine the best characteristics of each one.

In that way, we offer new and different hybrids that accomplish the current breeding standards: with high adaptability to different growing types (indoors and outdoor growing), with fast maturation, high potentiality, high production of flowers and resins, refined terpene profiles, ornamental qualities, etc...

By offering ACE Seeds pure varieties and new stabilized types and by developing hybrids with new genetics, we contribute towards the improvement of the lack of genetic diversity suffered by the commercial psychoactive cannabis varieties nowadays.

What is the difference between regular seeds and feminized seeds ?

Regular seeds can produce feminine plants as well as male plants. They are most indicated if you are interested in using male plants to produce seeds in your own breeding projects. If the growing conditions are adequate, the percentage of feminine plants is normally superior to the one of male plants. This is especially true for the most tropical sativa varieties, where the percentages of feminine plants usually go beyond 70-80%.

On the other hand, feminized seeds produce only feminine plants (the percentage being over 95-98%). They are most indicated for growing without seeds where the priority is to maximize the number of feminine plants since the very beginning, or to avoid any problem of undesired pollination from male plants.

What is a pure strain ?

A pure strain is a native variety coming from a very concrete geographical area. Thus, they show some of their own typical and stable characteristics after many generations of being adapted into these concrete climate conditions. This makes the pure variety to be unique and distinguishable from the rest of the varieties.

Pure strains can be wild-grown or they can be the fruit of centenary domestication relationships with the human being. In any case, these pure varieties have an incalculable genetic value for their preservation. In fact, they are unfortunately rapidly disappearing but they are the basis for the development of all commercial existing varieties.

They are mostly indicated to hybridize because the features of the pure varieties are more homozygotic and stable, so that the hybrids produced have a more predictable behavior.

What is a hybrid ?

A hybrid is a crossing of two or more pure varieties, whether stabilized or not.

Several varieties are crossed in order to obtain a more vigorous hybrid than the original genetics, trying to combine the best characteristics of each pure variety and reducing to a minimum the negative characteristics of each one.

This is the reason why the hybrids are more productive, powerful, adaptable and easy to grow than the pure varieties from which they are developed. However, their genotype is more unstable when crossing seeds in breeding projects.

What is a semi-stabilized hybrid ?

It is a hybrid where the stabilization breeding is still in a development stage. Therefore, some variability could still be found regarding the typical characteristics of the strain.

What is a stabilized hybrid ?

This hybrid is the result of crossing other pure varieties or stabilized varieties. It offers whole stable and recognizable characteristics that, generation by generation, make it almost behave as a pure native variety.

What is a limited edition ?

Limited editions are exclusive varieties that are offered for a limited period of time and normally they are sold in reduced stock. If you are really interested in any limited edition, we recommend you to buy it as soon as possible because we cannot guarantee these varieties will be available in the future.

What are the conditions of conservation and packing of the seeds ?

The seeds are preserved in hygienic conditions at a constant temperature of 4ºC. The levels of humidity are low and constant too.

The seeds are selected by hand, one by one, in hygienic and clean conditions. They are selected after proving their color and size. Each one is pressed in order to make sure that the embryo of the seed is already mature.

For orders sent in original packaging, the seeds are introduced in a transparent tube of rigid plastic together with granules of silica gel that guarantee the low humidity (necessary for the conservation of the seeds) and to avoid the seeds are crushed during the delivery process. Finally, the tube is covered in a plastic, in order to avoid any potential manipulation until the customer opens his/her package.

What is the purpose of the date of packing in ACE Seeds packages ?

ACE Seeds guarantees the viability of its seeds within TWO YEARS after the packing date indicated on the reverse side of the packages.

If you purchased your order directly from ACE Seeds and received your order without its original packaging, then the packing date is the SAME as the date we send out your order.

Why do I received my order without the original ACE Seeds packaging ?

Customer must send cash by registered mail with tracking on your package. We advise that you conceal your package for security. Customers who send cash understand and agree that they are sending a cash payment AT THEIR OWN RISK, ACE Seeds is not responsible for any lost or stolen payments.

What should I do if my credit/debit cards payments are declined ?

Please be informed that we only accept credit/debit card with 3D Secure enabled only. In case your card payment was declined, you may have insufficient funds to complete the order or your card may have an international block applied.
Kindly, contact your bank and ask them to remove the aforementioned international block. Once this has been removed, you can try to place your order again.

Why my order is cancelled ?

If you have chosen bank transfer or cash through registered mail as your payment method, kindly make your payment as soon as possible. We cannot hold the stocks of your order more than 1 week from the date of your order.

If we didn´t receive your payment or any email confirmation from you saying that you have send the payment, then your order will be cancel AUTOMATICALLY after 1 week without any further notice.

What are the shipping options available ?

All orders are sent by registered mail (with tracking number) using our national postal service (Correos). The customer can choose between registered mail (Correos) or private shipping courier for a faster delivery service (only applicable to certain countries)

What are the shipping costs ?

For orders below 100 € in Spain, the shipping cost for registered mail (with tracking number) is 4,50 € and private courier shipping MRW (delivery in 24-48 working hours) is €9.50 .

For international orders below 100 €, the shipping cost for registered mail (with tracking number) is 8 €. For private courier shipping the shipping cost are as below :

31€ for Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland and United Kingdom (delivery in 5-10 working days).

42€ for Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania (delivery in 5-10 working days).

50€ for Canada (delivery in 7-14 working days, recommended during COVID-19 crisis).

If the order reaches 100 € or more, then customer will get to enjoy a FREE shipping for registered mail (with tracking number) using our national postal service (Correos). Free shipping is not applicable for private courier shipping options.

What is the difference between registered mail and standard mail ?

Registered mail comes with the tracking of the shipping and guarantees that the correct person receives the order. This is the reason why the real name of the receiver is mandatory (if the name is not real, it might happen that the customer cannot pick up his/her registered order). Signature is required during the collection of the order.

Standard mail is usually more discreet, but we are unable to provide a tracking number of the shipping. No signature is required on arrival. ACE Seeds will not be responsible if the standard mail shipping is lost in transit.

Can I change my shipping address ?

If you have made an error on your shipping address, please get in touch with us at info@aceseeds.org as soon as possible providing your order reference number and correct address.
Once your order is sent, we are unable to make any changes.

What is the estimated delivery time once an order has been dispatched ?

The estimated delivery time for the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands is 1-3 days, for the Canary Islands is 5 – 7 days , for Europe is 5 – 7 days and for the international orders out of Europe is usually between 1 – 2 weeks. There are certain countries where it will take up to 1 – 2 months to arrive depending on the postal services in those countries and also depending on the holiday seasons.

COVID-19 updates : Please be informed that there are shipping delay worldwide due to the COVID-19 crisis. Shipping delay varies from country to country. We seek your understanding and patience on this issue. How can I track my order ?

For registered mail, you can track it at https://www.correos.es/es/en/individuals by inserting your tracking number you can find at the bottom of the shipping confirmation email.
Please take note that for certain countries (for example Canada, New Zealand and etc.. ), the tracking service is not available once the order left our country (Spain). This is due to the postal services in those countries does not provide tracking services for orders sent from Europe.

For standard mail, there is no way we can track the order as it DOES NOT contains any tracking number. ACE Seeds will not be responsible if the standard mail shipping is lost in transit.

What should I do if my order did not arrive ?

If your order did not arrive after 1 month from the date we sent you the shipping confirmation email which contains the tracking number, kindly contact us through email at info@aceseeds.org with your order number and tracking number. We will help you to place a reclamation with Correos to find out the status of your shipping. A reclamation can only be done 1 month after the order was sent.

This reclamation process could take a few weeks depending on the communication between Correos and the national postal service of the receiver´s country. If the final outcome of the reclamation confirmed by Correos that your shipment is lost, we will resend or refund your order accordingly.

Reclamation is ONLY AVAILABLE for registered mail. For standard mail, we are unable to make any reclamation with Correos as the order was shipped without any tracking number.

What if my order is returned back to ACE Seeds ?

If your order is returned back to ACE Seeds, we will inform you about the returned order by email and the reason of returned order stated by the postal service.

We will resend your order again by standard mail (no tracking number) after you confirm with us the new correct shipping address.
In case the customer wants the order to be resent by registered mail, then the customer will have to pay for the registered shipping cost again.

What if my order is stuck or confiscated by the customs ?

If your order is held up by customs, any charges that may incur will be the buyer’s responsibility and whether you finally receive it or not will depend on the regulations in force in your country.
It is the buyer´s responsibility to check the regulations in their country before making any purchase at our website.

ACE Seeds will not be responsible (no resend / no refund) if the order is held up or confiscated by the customs in your country, whether the order is sent by standard or registered mail.

Where can ACE Seeds send its seeds ?

ACE Seeds only send orders to those places where the legislation allows the possession of cannabis seeds.

There's a constant change of cannabis legalization worldwide, you can find out the list of countries we currently ship to during the checkout process when placing your order on our website. We DO NOT ship to the United States of America.

How should I do to germinate my ACE Seeds ?

1. Wash your hands. Put your seeds in a clean glass of distilled water with pH 7 and very low levels of EC for 24 hours.

2. Prepare a clean Tupperware (or a plate) and clean kitchen paper. Cover the Tupperware with two layers of kitchen paper. Put the seeds on them, and cover the seeds with one layer of kitchen paper. Now humidify the middle part again with distilled water (or mineral quality water). Please make sure that no water is stagnant, but only the kitchen paper is homogeneously humid. Close the Tupperware.

3. Put the Tupperware in a dark place with a stable temperature around 25ºC. For the tropical sativa varieties, we recommend higher temperatures of around 28ºC. In order to maintain the temperature warm and stable even in the coldest months of the year, it is recommended to put a thermic mat under the germination Tupperware or plate. Keep controlling that the temperature does not increase.

4. Open the Tupperware at least twice a day in order to regenerate the oxygen of the germination and to control the state of the seeds.

5. When the seeds start opening (usually 24-48 hours after the germination) and they have a white and healthy root of approximately 1 cm, they must be very carefully introduced in the selected pot. The depth to which they must be introduced is approximately 1 cm. Please make sure that this white root looks downwards. Now humidify the place with abundant distilled water or quality mineral water.

6. The plant pot must be put in a sunny place or under the breeding light with a growing photoperiod. The temperature must be kept stable at 25ºC and not less than 20 º C in any case.

7. Wait until the plants are born and enjoy your growing!

How can I reclaim if my ACE Seeds do not germinate ?

ACE Seeds makes germination tests to all the ACE Seeds batches that are put on sale. Nevertheless, it might happen that a customer has bought an old or defective batch due to improper conservation or transport. This is why we ask you to keep the original package until the seeds have correctly germinated.

However, if you have any problem with the germination of ACE Seeds, please let us know the number of your order (or send us a copy of the invoice of the purchase in case you bought it from a retailer), send us the photo of the original package with the packing date, and a photo/s of the germination process to: info@aceseeds.org. Please, explain to us your case and we will evaluate the replacement of your seeds.

ACE Seeds will not replace the seeds that were bought from a retailer WITHOUT our original packaging.

In case you have problem with germination of seeds from OTHER SEEDBANKS that you purchased from ACE Seeds website, you can contact us at : info@aceseeds.org and we will forward your reclamation to the other seedbanks accordingly.

We have no control over the environment in which the seed is stored after leaving our premises. For the protection of all of our customers, we will not accept seed returns for any reason other than an error on our part in filling your seed order. Returns are only applicable for merchandising products.

Returned merchandising goods must be new and unused. All returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us. The goods should be sent back with a recorded service as we will not be responsible for returns lost in the post during the transit.

You can return your purchase of merchandising within 7 business days from the receipt of your order by sending an email to info@aceseeds.org. You will have to include the reference number of your order in the email. You will receive all the instructions to proceed.


We will refund the cost of returned goods (only applicable for merchandising products). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We do not refund the cost of returning the goods back to us.

Refunds will be made by crediting your card or depending on the payment method used when you make the purchase.
