COLORFUL MOSTLY AFGHANI HASHPLANT INDICA HYBRID, WITH A TOUCH OF BURMESE SATIVA

Description

ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) is a cross between a Double Dalai F3 Male selection and a P1 Female selection from the Maruf Kandahar (southern Afghanistan) TAP22 project.
ESP mainly boasts two distinctly different physical embodiments (phenotypes): one significantly taller, similar to the highland hashplant type population with long stalks and a Christmas tree shaped overall structure, while the second type is much shorter with a stubby frame that resembles the typical Afghani landrace varieties from the arid desert regions such as Kandahar.

PHENOTYPES

– TYPE 1 TALL (F1)
– TYPE 2 SHORT (F1)

The phenotypic expression of Type 1 is that of a tall, robust plant with wider internodal spaces and solid conical buds, showcasing a plant that is overall apically dominant. While all the other traits such as colors, smells, taste, and effects overlap with the Type 2 plants (shorter), the main difference lies in structure.

The phenotypic expression of Type 2 is that of a short, squat plant with very closely held internodes that give it a stubby structure which bushes out instead of growing vertically like the former.

While both of these expressions have distinctly different physical appearances, they share many common traits. All of these plants start off with slightly sweet and muffled sour, incense-like aromas that gradually mature into more rancid and astringent smells, ranging from floor cleaners, solvent adhesive, and gas (butyl mercaptan)-like odors, with finishing notes of rank, rotting, sulphuric funk reminiscent of their Maruf Kandahar parentage.

Double Dalai contributes brilliant hues of red and purple, a shorter flowering time, its signature creeper high, and reshapes the overall structure to be more robust and vertically stacked instead of flopping sideways, allowing closer planting for crop intensification. However, Double Dalai makes its presence felt again once the flowers are fully dried and cured, as they exude very astringent, hazy, and deep incense-like flavors when smoked, contrasting with their live plant aromas.

ESP as a variety captures the essence of both parents in the truest sense. When we smoke ESP (hash or flowers), the effects do not make themselves apparent right away with a head rush as we are used to with modern varieties. Instead, it slowly builds up and creeps on the user from the spine to the head before flushing its full effects through the whole body. The effects are both dreamy and relaxing: while your mind drifts into a psychedelic state, your body remains fully relaxed in its own vacuum, caressed by vibrations upon your skin that last for a long time, offering just a glimpse of the Afghani-style couch lock mixed with Double Dalai’s exotic and dreamy high. This experience is unlike anything else when it comes to effects, which is the most outstanding feature of this variety among all the amazing traits it offers to the grower.

Growing Tips

Especially recommended for outdoor growing in hot and dry climates due to its excellent adaptability to heat and drought in its place of origin. It withstands without problem the cold during flowering and strong temperature variations throughout its development. It can easily be grown indoors too.

We recommend moderate levels of nutrients for the whole cycle, slightly higher in NPK in the first two thirds of the flowering period.
