Selection from 1000 seeds that Prempavee got in 2022 from a 91-year-old woman who had been growing them uninterruptedly for many generations. Mekhong is named after the river that crosses the border between Laos and Thailand. Classic because it is the oldest lineage that she has been able to discover along the river area.
Extremely rewarding in terms of resin production and compounds. Pest and mold resistant, it can thrive in very unfriendly environments. Easy to grow outdoors in hot tropical and subtropical areas, but can be a challenge indoors or in temperate areas.
Slow flowering, can herm under stress, and it doesn’t like to be defoliated, pinched, or cut.
Terps resemble green apples.
It can be only THC-rich, but some of them can show a balanced 1:1 THC:CBD ratio, even up to 14% of each, with some CBG almost always present.
